1. Scope

This policy applies to use of the App.

2. Information Stored

The App mainly stores the following information on the device:

• Learning data entered by users (notebook names, words, meanings/translations, optional notes)

• Generated learning data (learning state, review logs, search/display support data)

• App settings (theme, display language, voice settings, display settings, selected notebook state)

• Data used by migration/sharing features (export JSON and backup files)

• Information handled during voice features (microphone input audio, speech recognition text)

3. Purpose of Use

Stored information is used only for the following purposes:

• Save, display, edit, and delete notebooks/entries

• Provide study mode, test mode, and stats

• Provide TTS/STT voice features

• Provide search, display optimization, and data migration/sharing features

• Recovery and consistency maintenance when failures occur

4. External Transmission / Third-Party Provision

The operator does not send or store app usage data on the operator's servers.

However, if a user submits the inquiry form, submitted content (such as email address and inquiry details) is collected and used for inquiry response purposes.

Speech recognition and speech synthesis use standard OS features, and depending on device/OS settings, online processing by the OS provider may occur.

When using sharing features or external services (browser navigation), the terms and policies of the destination service apply.

5. Storage Location and Retention

Data is stored on your device. The operator does not store user data on operator servers.

Due to device backup features (such as iCloud/Google Backup), data may remain in backups and may be restored even after app deletion (depending on device/OS behavior).

Words deleted by users are first moved to trash and are automatically permanently deleted after 30 days (timing may vary depending on device state or OS behavior).

6. User Controls

Users can manage information by:

• Editing/deleting in-app (including trash restore/permanent delete)

• Changing microphone/speech recognition permissions in OS settings

• Deleting exported files

• Deleting the app (subject to OS behavior)

7. Security

The operator implements reasonable measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of information.

8. Minors

If minors use the App, they should obtain guardian consent as needed.

9. Policy Changes

The operator may change this policy when necessary.

Important changes will be announced in-app or on distribution pages.
